Everything players, teams, and spectators need to know before the 3v3 Hoops Classic tournament.
What is the date and location of the tournament?
The 3v3 Hoops Classic takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) on The Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio. Games will run throughout the day and admission is free for spectators.
How many players can be on a team?
Each team may have up to four players total — three players on the court and one substitute. Teams may begin a game with two or three players but no more than three players may be on the court at a time.
What divisions are available?
Divisions include Middle School Boys and Girls, High School Boys and Girls, College Men’s and Women’s, and Business/Community Men’s and Women’s divisions.
How much does registration cost?
Middle School: $100 per team
High School: $175 per team
College: $250 per team
Business/Community: $400 per team
How does the tournament format work?
The tournament follows a double-elimination format. Games are 25 minutes or first team to 21 points. Teams score one point inside the arc and two points beyond the arc.
What prizes are awarded?
Championship teams in each division receive medals and prize money. A total of $10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded across divisions.
Is there a cost to attend as a spectator?
No. Admission to the event is completely free for spectators.
